A Libyan lawmaker said the planned dialogue session will aim at testing the waters among members of the outgoing General National Congress.
The talks are scheduled to be held on January 5 under the sponsorship of the United Nations.
"The talks will aim at exchanging ideas," lawmaker Abou Bakr Baira said.
