The Palestinian agricultural ministry Tuesday signed a cooperation agreement to enable the exchange of experiences with the republic of Namibia, according to a statement issued by the ministry. The agreement aims to promote and develop agricultural relations between the two countries in order to benefit from the experiences of both countries in all agricultural fields in order to have profitable economic advantages at a global level. The agreement was signed during a visit by the Palestinian minister of agricultural, Waleed Asaf, to the republic of Namibia, where he met with the Namibian President, Hifikepunye Lucas Pohamba , in addition to several Namibian officials. Pohamba affirmed his country’s support to the Palestinian issue and stressed the Palestinian people’s rights to an independent sovereign state. He also discussed the obstacles facing the Palestinian agricultural sector due to the Israeli measures practiced against Palestinians.
