The National Energy Control Center announced Tuesday that power services have fully been restored to all areas which suffered a sudden outage earlier in the day as a result of the heatwave which affected the power services in various districts in Giza and Cairo.

Electricity Ministry Spokesman Mohammad Yamani said the high temperature caused a malfunction in the power transformers providing some districts in Giza and Cairo governorates.
