A joint operations room will be formed between the Iraqi army and "Peshmerga" Kurdish forces to fight Daesh, ‏Iraq's new Defense Minister Khaled al Obeidi said Friday.
The remarks were made during a joint press conference with Osama Nujafi, an Iraqi vice president who visited the Gwer-Makhmour frontline for talks with Kurdish commanders.
There is a real approach to provide support for Peshmerga forces as they are part of the Iraqi defense system, Obeidi announced.
