The weather across the country is expected to become unstable beginning on Tuesday as officials warn motorists to drive carefully. \"The weather is likely to become unstable by Tuesday evening, with chances of rain. On Wednesday, the chances of rain are even higher,\" a National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) forecaster told Gulf News yesterday. The weather on Tuesday is predicted to be partly cloudy with some towering clouds over the eastern areas. \"The unstable weather will start over the western areas by afternoon, with gradual increase in clouds and a chance of some rain. Moderate to fresh winds cause some blowing dust/haze and may decrease horizontal visibility at times. The sea will be moderate earlier during the day but will turn rough by afternoon with waves up to seven feet high.\" Weather conditions are expected to remain the same tomorrow, the forecaster said. Meanwhile, a Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) official has urged motorists and road users to exercise caution while driving during bad weather conditions. Engineer Maitha Bin Udai, CEO of RTA Licensing Agency, said it was essential that motorists slow down, leave sufficient space between vehicles and always remain vigilant.
