The army has managed to retrieve the second part of a barge that capsized in the Nile last month in Qena.

A huge crane was used to lift the part of the long flat-bottomed boat which was loaded with 500 tons of phosphate.

The solution was to cut the sunken barge into two parts to be easily floated.
