Lebanese President Michel Sleiman met here on Friday with the Iranian Energy Minister Majid Namjoo and discussed with him regional developments, especially in Syria, in addition to means of boosting bilateral ties, the official National News Agency (NNA) reported. Namjoo stressed the importance of finding a political solution to the Syrian crisis, while they also discussed the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip. The Iranian minister briefed Sleiman on a number of bilateral energy agreements that will be signed, in addition to expanding cooperation ties in all fields. The Iranian Energy Minister and his accompanying delegation flew into Beirut earlier Thursday.
