Chairman of the union of fishermen Bakri Abul-Hassan said Wednesday that Sumed Petroleum has caused a big leak in the Gulf of Suez. The oil pollution killed many fish in the Gulf of Suez, Abul-Hassan said. The environment office in Suez filed a report against Sumed Petroleum demanding the company to compensate the fishermen. Sumed Petroleum would not comment on charges leveled against the company.
