A ship sailed into Alexandria port on Thursday with 20,000 tons of clinker, a material used in cement making, on board, Alexandria Port Chairman Abdel Qader Darwish said.

The ship, coming from Greece, was unloaded smoothly after finalizing customs' measures, he added.

The container and truck movement is increasing as a result of using new electronic systems in loading and unloading goods, he asserted.
