Dr. Abdul Hussain Bin Ali Mirza, Minister of Energy received in his office at the Electricity and Water Authority this morning, MP Adnan Al Malki, the parliament representative of the third constituency at the Central Governorate, and the MP Isa Ali Al Qadhi the parliament representative of the fourth constituency at the Central Governorate. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mirza welcomed them and stressed the role played by the members of the Council of Representatives in conveying the citizen\'s voice and needs to all officials in the country. He also said that at the Electricity and Water Authority, they were keen to build cooperation bridges with the parliamentary and municipal councils for the service of the citizens, and delivering the services for them with ease. Dr. Mirza highlighted the directives of the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, and those of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, as well as the directives of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He highlighted that the wise leadership always stressed that the governmental institutions should achieve their full role in serving the citizen and enhancing tangible positive changes that meet the citizens’ needs and aspirations. He also pointed out that they also work in cooperation with the legislative authority and all government agencies and civil society institutions to provide better services to the citizen. For their part, Al Malki and Al Qadhi expressed their thanks and appreciation for Dr. Mirza the Minister of Energy and all affiliates at the Electricity and Water Authority for their efforts in preparing a solid ground to create a strong infrastructure, particularly in the field of electricity and water. Then, both MPs and the minister reviewed the most the important difficulties experienced by the people of Isa Town, particularly with the regard to electricity cuts in some areas. The Minister stressed that the Electricity and Water Authority prepared for this summer by establishing stations with high voltage in addition to the replacement of old cables and maintaining the electric feeders. The Ministry also took several measures to minimize those electric interruptions.
