Tehran - MENA
Head of Egyptian Interests Section in Tehran Ambassador Khaled Emara has dismissed reports alleging that an agreement was reached with Iran to export natural gas or butane to Egypt.
He said that the volume of trade exchange between both countries hit 130 million dollars.
The Egyptian exports to Iran include vegetables and fruits, the envoy said, adding that Egypt imports auto spare parts from Iran.
The former head of Iranian Interests Section in Cairo claimed that Egypt and Iran held talks to purchase natural gas from Tehran.
