The Egyptian-Saudi committee concerned with electricity and energy will start meetings in Riyadh Sunday to review power linkage projects.
Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker left here Saturday for the Saudi capital, leading a delegation from the power sector.
The meetings will take up steps for the power linkage project, which will lead to exchanging 3,000 megawatts between the two countries.
The experimental operation of the project is planned for July 2017.
