Cairo - MENA
Egypt and Ukraine sign later on Sunday a contract to supply Cairo Transport Authority with 290 natural gas-operated buses.
Cairo Governor Galal Said said the contract would be signed with the Ukrainian city transport group company at an estimated cost of EGP 500 million, and a guarantee for 7 years.
The first batch will be delivered after four months, Said added.
Some of the new buses will be allocated to establish new bus lines between Cairo and news cities, he added.
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, Ukrainian Ambassador in Cairo Hennadiy Latte and transport officials will attend the event.
