Egyptian PM Ibrahim Mahlab

Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb discussed on Thursday with Algeria, Kuwait, UAE oil ministers ways to bolster Arab cooperation in the energy field.
A statement from the Egyptian premier's office said that the meeting also highlighted a number of Arab investment projects set for execution in Egypt in the near future.
According to the statement, Mehleb stressed importance on Arab coordination and joint cooperation in various fields, including the importance of agreements with a fixed timetable and the establishment of Arab joint companies.
Earlier, Kuwaiti Minister of Oil and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Dr. Ali Al-Omair said his meeting here with the oil ministers of Egypt, Algeria and the United Arab Emirates was meant to explore horizons for more investments in Egypt's energy sector.
Kuwait maintains a fruitful and long-standing cooperation with Egypt in oil exploration and production, he told KUNA following the meeting.
