President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued Monday a decree to encourage the production of electricity from renewable sources.
The new law contains a set of measures to encourage the private sector to enter the field of producing electricity from renewable sources, presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
The state will allocate lands for the establishment of such projects under the usufruct contract, Youssef said.
