An electricity Ministry official denied on Wednesday news reports that Ein el-Sokhna power station boiler was warming up.
"There was no indication of any dangerous overheating in the power plant," head of the plant Ali Hassan said.
Earlier, some news reports claimed that the power station was about to explode due to overheating.
