The Electricity Sector said Monday it was keen on improving services and therefore it sought combating theft of electricity and collection of arrears.
The electricity sector added in a statement that those efforts were meant to modernize the power network and maintain the power generation stations.
The statement quoted electricity police reports of 4,543 electricity theft cases.
