Exporting renewable energies from the Maghreb to Europe is a long-term objective, said Friday in Tunis CEO of the national electricity and gas company SONELGAZ Noureddine Bouterfa. Especially as the results achieved by countries like Spain and Portugal in the use of renewable energies are \"satisfactory.\" He said, however, the economic crisis in Europe led to the decrease in the energy demand, making renewable energies more available in the continent. The CEO of SONELGAZ called for concluding agreements with transit countries like Spain and Italy, adding that \"the export of renewable energies from the Maghreb to Europe is a long-term objective.\"
