Iran’s Exports Development Bank (IEDB) is to finance a project for energy transit to neighboring Iraq.

The project, which involves construction of 400-kilovolt electricity line, is estimated to cost 437mln plus 471 billion rials (Iranian currency), the oil ministry's website reported.
The electricity transmission line would be 189 kilometers long, stretching from Bisotoun to Eslamabad Gharb in the Western Province of Kermanshah before crossing Khosravi border post.
The project envisages two line feeders and two power plant feeders as well as a 315-megavolt/ampere transformer and a 50-megawatt reactor.
