Italian energy giant Enel gave notice Tuesday that it is pulling out of a nuclear power project in France. Enel, based in Rome, said it is leaving the project led by Electricite de France SA. Enel said it will be reimbursed for about 613 million euros plus accrued interest related to its 12.5% stake in the project.
