Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Mohammad Hamed, singed on Tuesday a memorandum of understanding with the Cypriot Minister of Energy and Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Giorgos Lakkotrypis, to enhance cooperation in the energy domain.
Hamed said in a press statement that the memorandum aims at exchanging information and expertise in areas of energy production, hydrocarbons exploration, infrastructure and environmental protection standards. The deal also seeks to increase experts exchange, joint ventures, as well as studying prospects of importing natural gas from Cyprus.
