Casablanca – Yousra Mostafa
Moroccan city Ouarzazate is to host a convention on energy challenges in the Euro-Mediterranean area on September 14-16. A number of energy-related studies will be presented during the summit, as Morocco is becoming more aware of the various issues concerning renewable energies. The convention will encourage the participating countries to use and explore renewable energies, especially solar energy. This is to achieve energy self-sufficiency and reduce the oil demand to protect the environment.
