Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab issued a decision to form a panel under Mahmoud el Nemr, the undersecretary of the Engineers Syndicate, in order to review the power supply at Maspero building.

The panel will submit a report to Mahlab about the outcome of its work within two weeks.

In May, a power cut affected the Egyptian Radio and Television Union housed in the Maspero building in central Cairo due to a technical problem at a power station.
