The Cabinet approved on Thursday an amendment to the penal code toughening penalties against crimes of sabotaging gas and oil pipelines, oil institutions and water supply networks that lead to the disruption of services.
The new amendment slaps life imprisonment sentences to vandals of the aforementioned property.
