Prime Minister Sherif Ismail held on Sunday a meeting with a delegation of the US-Canadian SkyPower Global.

The meeting discussed a project to establish a 300-megawatt solar plant in the Upper Egyptian city of Minya.

Ismail said the government is keen on providing all facilities to launch this project as soon as possible.

Cabinet Spokesman Hossam Qawish said the project will help transfer technologies of solar power generation to Egypt and provide job opportunities for Egyptian youth.
