Aswan - MENA
A power pylon that has been bombed on Sunday in west of Kom Ombo, Aswan, was fixed at a total cost of EGP 500,000, an official at the Upper Egypt Electricity Distribution Company said Thursday.
The electricity tower was targeted by four makeshift bombs, which caused a blackout in a number of areas in Kalabsha city in Aswan, Ibrahim Khowayld said.
The company has been coordinating with the Armed Forces and Interior Ministry to secure the power towers, he said.
