Fishing in Kafr el Sheikh governorate was halted Saturday due to bad weather conditions, sand storms and the rise of waves in the Mediterranean Sea.

The Head of the Fishermen Association in Kafr el Sheikh Abdel Naby Kammon said that the fishing boats and ships are docked in Beruls Port for fear they might sink.

Fishing in Beruls lake was also stopped which led to rise of the prices of fish, he noted.
