Italian design house Bertone is currently in talks with a Chinese buyer to sell its one-off Nuccio supercar. Speaking with Automotive News at the Beijing Auto Show, Bertone CEO Marco Filippa said: \"We are currently in close negotiations with a Chinese collector who wants to buy the Nuccio.\"Filippa said that the asking price for the one-of-a-kind Nuccio is around €2 million; which is about right for a car that took 15,000 hours to design, engineer and build. The transaction for the car is hoped to be concluded after it appears at the Pebble Beach Concours d\'Elegance, in Monterrey, California, in August.Bertone Design Director Michael Robinson designed the Nuccio concept to mark the company\'s centenary, naming it after the Italian style master Nuccio Bertone. It is an \"extreme\" sports car, evolving the design of the mid-rear engine RWD berlineta of the seventies, with inspiration also coming from the 1970 Lancia Stratos Zero concept, Alfa Romeo Carabo and Lamborghini Countach. No specific details about the car\'s powertrain have been revealed other than power comes from a Ferrari-sourced 4.3-liter V8 engine rated at 480hp, which is mated to an automatic transmission.
