We just can’t believe it’s been 10 years since the first Ram Lone Star edition made its debut back in 2002. And to celebrate this fact, Chrysler has revealed a 10th Anniversary model. The Ram 1500 Lone Star, which makes up to 40 per cent of all Ram 1500s sold in Texas, now gets more prominent red, white and blue Texas state emblems. They take the place of the ‘Ram 1500’ badges while the interior features Katzkin perforated leather seats. Oh, and we love the 10th Anniversary Lone Star logo on the glove box while the floor mats have also been dressed up a little too. Paint options include Black, Bright Silver, Bright White, True Blue and Deep Cherry Red as pictured here. Under the bonnet lies a mighty 5.7-litre Hemi V8 producing 390bhp which has been mated to a crisp six-speed automatic. This beauty will be on sale from the second quarter of 2012. And, if you didn’t figure it out from the name, it’ll only be available to those in Texas. Shame.  From gulfnews
