This unfortunate event took place on highway 96 in a suburb of Munich called Germering. Eye witnesses claim to have seen the Ferrari speeding off from a speed restricted area and due to the wet road surface the car lost traction and it was violently sent towards the hard shoulder. The driver is said to be in critical condition in a hospital in Munich. This accident proves yet again that RWD cars and rain in inexperienced hands can be a recipe for disaster, as has been the case so many times before. The car 515 hp Scuderia, a lighter more focused version of the standard 430, was totaled and judging from the pictures, the damage seems beyond repair.
