Honda Australia has announced what it says is an aggressive new pricing structure for its aging Accord range. Slicing $4300 from the manufacturer’s recommended list price of entry-level Accord VTi, now $28,190, Honda will also offer drive-away pricing, which sees the model on-road for just $29,990. Walking up the range, Accord VTi-L with integrated satellite navigation is now priced from $37,190 (MRLP), a reduction of $2800, with top-shelf Accord V6 available from $47,290 (MRLP) for a reduction of $2700. The Honda Accord, which has been with us in its present form since 2008, is available with the choice of a (133kW) 2.4-litre four-cylinder or (202kW) 3.5-litre V6 with Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) depending on variant. In its most frugal format, Accord sips just 8.7L/100km combined. All models are fitted as standard with an automatic transmission. “This new pricing on the Accord range is further evidence of Honda Australia’s commitment to provide our customers with outstanding product at value for money pricing,” explained Honda Australia director, Stephen Collins. “We are sure our customers will agree the Accord now offers one of the best-value buys in the large segment.” 2012 Honda Accord pricing: - Accord VTi $28,190 - Accord VTi-L $37,190 - Accord V6 $47,290
