Nissan Motor Co. said it expects to get approval within a month from the Chinese government to make Infiniti cars in the country, as the auto maker seeks to localize production to contend with the strong yen. Nissan Executive Vice President Andy Palmer made the prediction Tuesday but didn\'t say whether production of the luxury models would be at existing plants the company operates with Dongfeng Motor Group Co. or if the partners would build a new production base in China.
