South Korea\'s exports of vehicles hit a record high during the first half of this year amid improving consumer sentiment in major economies, customs data showed Monday. According to the data by Korea Customs Service, South Korea exported US$19.1 billion worth of cars during the January-June period, up 30.4 percent from a year earlier. The number of vehicles shipped overseas also grew 15.9 percent on-year to 1.5 million.
