Taxi and public drivers unions called off their strike which was planned on Thursday after a late night meeting between Prime Minister Najib Mikati and representatives of the unions which lasted until 2:00 AM. The unions plan to hold a meeting at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the General Labor Confederation building to discuss the fate of the strike and future steps.
