Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi has stressed the ministry’s keenness on enhancing its partnership with academic institution and international think tanks to prepare young Bahrainis and efficiently qualify them scientifically, technically and professionally to develop the media message and support the continuous development and civilisational achievements attained during the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
This came as he received here today the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Polytechnic, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, in the presence of Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Jeff Zabudsky, and Deputy CEO for Resources and Information Affairs, Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa.
The minister reviewed with the delegation ways to enhance cooperation with Bahrain Polytechnic in the fields of community service and educational and training programmes deployment, especially in electronic media.
Al-Romaihi lauded Bahrain Polytechnic’s pioneering contributions, since its establishment 10 years ago, to develop higher education, provide youth with advanced technical and professional skills in electronic media, visual design and information and communication technology, as well as advance their creative potentials to enter the labour market on the bases of excellence, innovation and competitiveness, in accordance with the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
Bahrain Polytechnic board chairman expressed thanks and appreciation to the minister for his constant support for Bahraini youth as well as for his interest in activating cooperation with national universities and colleges, which, he said, will consolidate partnership in serving the nation to increase its achievements and highlight them at regional and international levels.
