H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an administrative decision on making the Sharjah Media City (SMC) site, a free zone authority. 

Under the decision No. 10 of 2016, the SMC site, its border and the area shown in the map attached, have been approved as the free zone authority. 

This decision is effective from the date of its issuance, and shall be published in the Official Gazette. All competent authorities have been instructed to carry out their respective functions.
