Islamists are in full control of Tripoli International Airport and are about to control all of the Libyan capital, reported Novye Izvestia newspaper on Tuesday.
The paper made it clear that such step will be the biggest success for the militants of the so-called "Islamic Emirate" which has close ties with the Islamic State in Iraq (ISIS), better known as Daesh group.
The paper said "Libya Dawn" group have expelled al-Zantan militants from Tripoli airport and the capital has been under air strikes for the sixth day running.
