Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia’s Security Council that convened on Monday did not discuss the issue of isolating the Russian segment of the Internet from the global network, Itar-Tass reported Sunday.
Peskov said that the issue was not included on the agenda of Monday’s meeting of the Council, chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
At the meeting, Putin and the permanent members of the Security Council focused on the implementation of the peace plan on resolving the crisis in southeastern Ukraine, the presidential spokesman said.
