Xinhua News Agency on Sunday launched a newswire dedicated to the new media service, taking the opportunity of the convening of the country\'s major political sessions. The move is to help the state news agency adapt to the profound changes in the media landscape led by digital evolution, and to achieve its strategic change, Xinhua said in a statement. Interaction, acuity, and flexibility will be the major features of the new media service, it said. The service will also provide customized reports for clients, with detailed stories and in-depth analyses. The National Committee of the Chinese People\'s Political Consultative Conference, the country\'s top political advisory body, started its annual session in Beijing Sunday, while the National People\'s Congress, China\'s top legislature, will open its annual meeting two days later. Xinhua\'s new media service will take advantage of the \"two sessions\" to give its debut performance, providing a different news reporting with major news focuses, exclusive interviews, feature stories, as well as visual and digitized news, according to the statement.
