Al Jazeera has announced the imminent arrival of its new sport channel beIN Sports to the USA this August. Addressing football fans, the upcoming channel tells it will be the “new home of the best football action from Europe.” In the US, it will thus offer exclusive coverage of La Liga BBVA from Spain, with all matches featuring iconic clubs Barcelona and Real Madrid.  beIN Sports will also offer exclusive coverage of the Serie A from Italy and of Ligue 1 from France. “Backed by the resources of  Qatar Media Corporation and the global expertise of Mediapro, beIN Sports will provide soccer fanatics in the USA with an experience that is unmatched by any rival,” the company claims. It will be carried on cable and satellite.
