European news channel Euronews has concluded its first commercial agreement with cable-operator HOT to be distributed across Israel. Two versions, in English and Russian, out of the 11 delivered by Euronews have been   broadcast since 30 November to 800,000 HOT subscribers. “This launch is a huge step forward, reinforcing Euronews' presence in the Middle East, where the channel is already available free-to-air in more than 16 million homes (on Arabsat, Eutelsat and OSN Orbit Showtime,” said Sylvie Paulin, Regional Distribution Manager.
