German pay-TV channel yourfamily has joined the IPTV platform A1 TV operated by Austria's national telco A1 Telekom Austria. The around 180,000 A1 TV customers can receive the children's and family channel as part of subscription package "Premium TV". Next year, yourfamily wants to extend its distribution outside Germany. Following the launch of a fully localised version of the channel for viewers in Bulgaria in November 2011, roll-out to further coutries in Eastern Europe is planned for 2012 including Macedonia and Romania. The channel, which is operated by Munich-based Your Family Entertainment, targets children between 3 and 13 years of age with series, films and cartoons.
