As part of the Education Ministry's efforts to avail of international expertise in education, higher education and training, Education Minister Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi met senior officials from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) at its headquarters in Paris, led by Executive Board Chairperson Alissandra Cummins, Deputy Director General for Education Qian Tang and Educational Planning College Director Khalil Mehshi. He discussed boosting cooperation between the Education Ministry and UNESCO in implementing educational development programmes and evaluating performance in education and higher education. He also reviewed ways of promoting technical assistance for Bahrain-based UNESCO's Regional Centre for Information and Communication Technology (CICT).
