A German sex education book was dropped by its publisher after parents complained that its graphic illustrations were too racy for their kids. The cartoons in the book, \"Where do you come from?\" show two characters, Lisa and Lars, putting a condom on having sex and eventually giving birth, the New York Daily reported. The book aimed at educating children was reportedly shown to students as young as 5-year-old in Berlin schools. It contained specific details about sex organs and orgasms, described as \"when it\'s so good that it can\'t get any better.\" A spokesperson for the Loewe Verlag publishing company told The Telegraph that the book was discontinued because the explicit detail was no longer appropriate. An excerpt about the book reads: \"children are curious - they want to know where they came from.\" \"To give an age-appropriate answer to this question is not easy. But the first explanation (of this topic) should be open and serious, because it is the only way children learn to deal with the topics of sexuality and pregnancy,\" it reads. The book is being replaced by another from the same illustrator, titled, \'Was I in Mummy\'s Stomach, Too?\'
