The Majlis Ash’shura Education and Culture Committee yesterday reviewed messages to the Majlis chief from PhD holders at the Education Ministry. The committee raised to the Majlis a citizen’s proposal to form a national committee to ensure quality education in the Sultanate. The committee also reviewed matters related to higher education and its strategies, including the obstacles Omani students face abroad and the mechanism followed by the Higher Education Ministry in communicating with them.
