Aswan police were able to contain clashes that erupted earlier Wednesday between residents and students of a secondary technical school that left 10 people injured from both sides. The confrontation erupted over an old dispute. Police troops rushed to the area. They fired teargas to separate the two sides. A number of people engaged in the fight were arrested. The school was evacuated.
