Undersecretary of the Education Ministry in Gharbiya governorate Fatma Khedr said that the role of the police to serve and protect the homeland would be taught to children during at least one class on the first week of school. She has already given instructions to this effect to all school administrations, she said. This step comes in light of the efforts exerted by the Education Ministry to enhance confidence between citizens and the police.
