University professors and researcher will now retire at the age of 65 instead of 60, according to the new Sudanese draft law approved by the Council of Ministers on Thursday. Professor Khamis Kajo, who presented the law said: “this law also modifies the procedures related to the appointment of university directors. They will be selected through recommendation from professors councils in state universities, and from the board of trustees in private universities.\"
