The Egyptian police arrested a teacher in Aswan governorate (South Egypt) over claims he sexually abused a six-year-old girl in a primary school classroom. Sources said the student\'s parents reported the matter to the prosecution, accusing the 47-year-old teacher of sexually abusing their girl. Investigations are continuing into the incident, which is alleged to have taken place inside an empty class room. The parents became suspicious and referred the matter to the prosecution when the girl returned home and explained what had happened.
