The Presidency of Meteorology and Environment (PME) launched their first workshop about Environmental Science Schools in cooperation with Ministry of Education. It is part of the PME program to establish schools that have adopted environmental education as an important theme in the coming years. One hundred and forty-three teachers attended the National Program for Environmental Awareness titled Be’aty: Green Flag, Green Country. It was organized in cooperation with the Saudi Environmental Society and the heads of 14 Saudi municipalities.
